My name is Dale Webb. I’ve been a client of Blackstone since 2014, and I’m looked after by Anthony Ward.

When I first spoke to Anthony, I was a bit naive about managing my finances. We just lived day-to-day; we didn’t have any plans, and my wife had moved companies several times and had several small pensions we wanted to put together.

Blackstone was recommended to me by another service that I was using for taxation.

I decided to go with Blackstone after meeting with my adviser, Anthony, and their prompt response to my initial contact. The face-to-face meeting was very helpful in getting to know each other very quickly.

So, over the years, Blackstone has helped me sort out and maximise my opportunities with my personal pension. We also changed some risk profiling because we had a bit of extra money, so we wanted to take a bit more risk than we were with the original investment, and we changed the investment strategy a little bit as well. Generally, they give good advice; if I ask Anthony a question that’s not necessarily directly about Blackstone or the services they provide, I still get support or a discussion about how to proceed, which I enjoy.

Working with Blackstone and Anthony is a positive experience. They are very helpful for multiple financial issues that crop up; they go above and beyond with the services they provide. They have supported me personally in more recent times with various issues that I’ve had, and they provided excellent advice, which worked out well.

Since working with Anthony, the best piece of advice that I’ve received is how to manage the changes in the pension rules, more recently, around fixed protection and Lifetime Allowance.
